While attending SNAP, I met so many bloggers I hadn’t had the pleasure of meeting in person yet. One blogger with crazy hair struck up a conversation with me about Annie Sloan paint and how she uses it for everything! Sassy Style is full of spunk and great ideas!
Annie Sloan Paint
I have heard SO much about this popular Annie Sloan paint, I was full of questions. I’m also a furniture painting geek and love to hear about other people’s techniques. I should have used it when I painted my son’s dresser orange this past weekend.
Tasha is bubbling with energy and I was so happy to have met her. Tasha lives right there in Utah, so we all know she’s crafty! While cruising through her blog, I saw several of her videos of her Studio 5 appearances. Great info! Studio 5 is SO lucky to have so many amazing creative bloggers to use on their show.
Annie Sloan Chalk Paint
Right away, I saw her post using the famous Annie Sloan chalk paint. This bench is amazing!
Her entryway make over is even better! Looking at this bench only confirms my feeling that all oak must be painted.
She uses the Annie Sloan chalk paint a lot and has a tutorial to help you. There are a few more steps, but it’s so worth it. She said so.
Ok, the entry way……..see what I mean. What a difference! Fresh colors, less clutter, better design. It seriously looks like a different room. I love the idea of painting the inside of the exterior door.
HELLO! What a cute idea! Painting HELLO in your entry adds a little whimsy to your home. I say if your entry way can handle a little personality makeover……..do it!
For those of you in the throws of the Chevron craze, I say less is more. Adding a touch of it with a lamp shade is perfect! The chalkboard ain’t bad either.
I thought this Studio 5 segment would be helpful for us getting ready to decorate our outdoor area. Isn’t she cute……….
Did you hear her? She doesn’t sew either……..a girl after my own heart! Head on over and leave her a warm comment from TCB!

Ha! I agree Kim, all oak MUST be painted
I’m a huge Annie Sloan Chalk Paint fan! Thanks for sharing this!
I love those chevron chairs, I need to do that in my dining room!
Kim-I had no idea! I have been a little under the weather and so I was offline until tonight. Thank you so much for the kind, fabulous words that you said about me and my funky self. I am thrilled to be featured! I too agree, everything oak MUST be painted!
Have a happy weekend!

I am painting dining table and chairs for a beach house. I want to use duck egg blue and old ochre but can’t decide which color to put on the table and which on the chairs. Any suggestions. Thanks
