Building a Community & Monetizing your Blog

When I first started blogging, it was just me and my computer sharing whatever thoughts came into my pretty little head. I never even thought about actually becoming “real” friends with anyone online. That was creepy right?

That all changed when I got a call from Laurie with Tip Junkie. She thought that her, Cindy (skip to my lou), Tiffany (Sits Girls) and myself should join forces somehow andtry to make some money off our hobbies.

Shortly after that we started working withBlog Frog. Not only did I build a large community, but Blog Frog is a great company to start with if you’re wanting to work with brands. Some of my best brand experiences have been contacts via Blog Frog.

Blog Frog will offer me a campaign and if I feel it aligns with my readers and it’s a brand I’m interested in, I accept it. Simple as that. If you’re a blogger and you’re wanting to start monetize your blog, this is a great way to start. All the nitty gritty is done for you as far as contracts, disclosures etc…. Blog Frog makes it simple!

It’s been a real blessing that I’ve been able to turn my passion into full time work. I feel very fortunate. I talk to all these ladies at least once a week and sometime multiple times a day and I get to meet so many others in communities like mine or like theEbates community where I’m a community leader. Blog Frog Communities ROCK!
