Trying to eat a no sugar, no white flour diet is hard sometimes. Heck…….what am I saying?  It’s hard ALL THE TIME!  But I thought I’d share this yummy  Sugar free Coconut Oil Chocolate Truffle recipe.  These are healthy, and will curb any sweet tooth you’ve got going.

Coconut Oil Chocolate Truffle Recipe

coconut oil recipes

  • Coconut Oil
  • Cocoa
  • Truvia or Stevia
  • nuts

Mix equal parts of coconut oil and cocoa.  I mix 3 tablespoons of each.  Blend well.  Add Truvia for desired sweetness.  I used 4 packets.  This is where you’ll need to mix mix mix!  Blend well.  Add nuts if you’d like.  I prefer walnuts, but the almonds were good too.

Drop into small sized baking cups.  You could use a small cupcake tin if you have one, but not necessary.  Chill in the refrigerator for at least 20 min.  Take out and enjoy!  coconut oil recipes

But they do melt fast, so you’ll either need to eat them all or place some back in the fridge.

Other options:

  • use peppermint stevia drops to add a minty flavor
  • add a bit of peanut butter….Mmmm
  • add chopped dried fruit.

  4. Awesome! I’m always on the lookout for healthy recipes. My family has been off white flour and refined sugar for a while now at home. Unfortunately it’s extremely difficult to stick to it away from home just because that kind of food isn’t readily available. (That’s one of my dreams, to make truly healthy convenience foods, fast food and drive-thrus! :) )

These look so good! I am going to try these! I have the coconut oil already. It was a little expensive. I think I paid $8.00 for the organic jar. It really lasts though! Thanks for sharing this recipe, can’t wait to try it.
