Oh I love creative home decor make overs! I never get tired of them. Never. Home Crafts that offer inexpensive solutions to making our home closer to our vision without breaking the bank. You are going to LOVE Jill with HomeMade by Jill. She’s got a beautiful site, I’m in love with the design.
Home Crafts-
Why live with an ugly dresser or why go buy a new one just because it’s ugly. Why not use your mad craft skillz and create an original with a bit of mod podge and patterned paper. She makes it look so easy.
Same with wall decor. I have a hard time finding what I want and when I do, it’s way more than I want to spend. I’m loving her idea of taking patterned tissue paper, mod podge and creating your own trio.
This is perfect and inexpensive solution to original art! I did something similar in college. I took an old framed fake painting and covered it with a patterned fabric that I loved. You would not believe all the compliments we got on those. Yes, we had more than one.
Now this is a fast and adorable way to create a pennant banner. I could muster something like this since there is NO sewing involved.
If you’re really type A, you could add to it. Knock yourself out.
Kids craft Ideas
Now these cute little salt and pepper shakers for a children’s kitchen are A.DOR.A.BLE! What wee one wouldn’t love these? My son LOVED his play kitchen well into kindergarten. Cute.

I enjoyed looking at all her kid party ideas. Great ideas for all of you with little ones. She can create her own stencil in no time and used them to create special party tee’s. And she gives YOU a free download. Yep…..free downloads.
You’re going to be really tickled to find her tutorial on how to make your own party and craft printables using picnik. Picnik is a free online photo editing program. I love it. I use the upgraded version. But I never thought to create my own printables. Can’t wait to try this.
Another great site full of creative crafty ideas! You’re going to love it! I hope you’ll leave her a big fat comment at Homemade By Jill letting her know she was featured today. I’ve been known to give first comments on the featured site a shout out on my facebook page. You can also find Jill on facebook. Enjoy!
Since you’re procrastinating, you may as well check out these other posts I did.
