Craft Kits for Kids

Being raised around scrapbooking and crafting, my son was the only kid in kindergarten that asked for adhesive instead of glue.  No matter what age, he’s always enjoyed creating, so when I was asked to review the themed craft kits from Kiwi Crate, I jumped at the chance. Even though he’s older than the age suggestions, he still had fun tinkering and actually ended up creating more crafts from the left over supplies just using his imagination.

Crafts for Kids

Kiwi Crate makes it easy for parents to promote creativity for their children.  Available as a monthly subscription, kits come in a wide variety of themes to match your child’s interest. Each craft kit comes with all the supplies needed (plus extra) to complete each craft. The best part is the kit is delivered directly TO YOUR DOOR!

My son chose the space themed kit for the rocket. You know how boys love paper planes? Well, this will be no different.  The rocket was very easy to assemble and had great “lift off”. There were enough materials to make at least 6 of these.  Lucas is saving the rest of the supplies to make the space mobile with the boys next door.  They are 8 & 6. crafts for kids

Each Kiwi Crate kit is filled with more than enough supplies to complete 2-3 projects. They keep their themes fresh to keep kids engaged and interested. Most projects are appropriate for ages 3-7, but my son is 13 and enjoyed using his imagination. I was just happy it got him away from the XBox for a bit.

Kiwi Crate Monthly subscriptions are $19.95 (free shipping) or other options: 3 months for $59, 6 months for $110, 12 months $220.

It’s always nice to have everything you need with a suggested craft with easy to follow directions to keep the kids busy.

Kiwi Crate is offering a 25% off your first month to TCB readers! (excluded sibling add on)  Promo Code: TCB25  – This code is only available for one week.

These make great gifts for the grandparents, birthdays, or maybe you’re thinking about starting your own kid craft club with your neighbors or friends.

It’s always refreshing to find activities that don’t revolve around technology…….that kids actually enjoy!

Disclaimer: Kiwi Crate sent me this kit and compensated me for this post. However, all opinions are mine, all mine.  I also thought their kits would be valuable to my readers and could help encourage creative time for their children. Pssst…….if they’re busy crafting with a Kiwi Crate, that give YOU more time to craft too!
