This past week for Get Your Craft On was slower than normal, but that doesn’t mean less creative. I found so many things that caught my eye! I love seeing the crafty crafts you all come up with whether it’s being creative by decorating, creating in the kitchen or just being crafty!
Craft Ideas
All these craft ideas came from my fun Get Your Craft On link up party on Tuesdays. Some you could do today, some may keep you busy for a few days.
This painted Paris Subway art table from Cheltenham Road is beautiful! Not only was it a rescue, but it turned out even better than it’s original form. They show a full tutorial and if I remember right, it was done by a guy! A crafty guy! Love it! Lots of other really cool stuff on this site.
Time and time again, I Fun.ky Ti.me gets me to click without even knowing it is her. She always catches my eye. The girl is amazing! Her photos and ideas are daBomb. I’m so glad to have her as one of my free printable contributors. Her last printable featured here was picked up by Huffington Post.
If you’re adventurous, you may be interested in trying out a ceiling stencil. I know I’m not on such a task. I just stenciled my mirror closet doors with a frosted etching glaze and that was enough to make me curse. I can’t image what I’d turn into trying this beautiful task. Studio of Decorative Arts makes it look simple and she even has a tutorial.
SAS Interiors painted this desk for her sons room. What I love most about the desk are the inside of the drawers. While visiting her tutorial I also learned about a new product that eliminates brush strokes while painting furniture. THAT makes me a happy happy girl.
I’m loving how The Inspired Momma decided to paint her door mat bringing new life to it’s worn out look. Why spend money when you can make it look better and use it for a bit more? Her tutorial shows you step by step (no pun intended) on how to update your door mat.
The next Get Your Craft On Link up Party is Tuesday…….although it usually goes live late Monday.

I’m a day late but thank you so much for featuring my Paris Coffee table and the shout out for my blog! I really appreciate it and you’ve totally made my Monday.
And yes, I am a guy. I have three older sisters so I’m very used to being the only male in the room.
Thanks again and have a great week.
David (the guy)
