Holly with 504 Main has a beautiful blog full of a variety of things to keep us busy.  She cooks, bakes, crafts, decorates……that’s all we really need……well and maybe a few of those cookies I found on her blog……posted below.

Creative Cookies

Not just any cookie recipe.  But Chocolate Chip Bacon Pecan Cookies!  She swears they are good and she’s not a bacon person.  I’m not sure if I could hang with her……..not a bacon person?  I’d give them a try, would you?

I love my cake portable.  I mean who wouldn’t?  This puts a whole new meaning to open container. In a legal way.  (let’s not think I’m OK with the illegal way, if you really knew me IRL, you’d know I am a stanch supporter of No drinking and driving) gifts in a jar

Creative Eggs

I’ve NEVER tried this.  It’s one of things that ranks right up there with sewing for me.  Seems too hard.  But she said it was much easier than she imagined.  It looks like it would take a bit of time and we all know I don’t have that kind of attention span.  I do like the antique look they have, especially with the vintage labels.  Perfect for spring time decorating. Creative Image Transfer

She goes through step by step on how she did this.  She even tells you where she got the images.  I’ll give you a hint…….she’s one of my past features.  (olive rue)  That tea towel is CUTE! transfer images

Creative Photo Chandelier

Not all her ideas are kitchen related, she has lots of crafty stuff too.  She made this sentimental chandelier out of old book paper and photos, hung it from her regular chandelier.  Love that.   paper chandilier Holly has posted plenty on Get Your Craft On and she’s such a good girl linking back to me.  She knows how to make a girl happy.  It’s the little things in life.

    Having tried those cookies myself, as well as the cakes in a jar, I can say with conviction that Holly’s cooking (as well as crafts) totally rock my world. It’s nice being in the same town and getting to try the occasional “sample” of the wonderful creations at 504 Main.

    I’m a BIG Holly fan! She is the sweetest, most encouraging girl! Plus, her talents and energy are endless. Those eggs are so pretty! I’ve never seen anything like that.
