While I’m vacationing in Utah (with wardrobe mishaps and all) I’ve twisted the arms of a few bloggy BFFs to write guest posts for TCB!  Holly is sharing her latest favorite projects with us today!  Lucky us!

and for me that means making stuff…
crafty stuff, sweet stuff, crazy stuff

504 Main


I am Holly from 504 Main and am so excited to be hanging out at Today’s Creative Blog to share some of my favorite posts with you. You will have to excuse the randomness, I like what I like and am inspired by everything around me…sometimes I sew, sometimes I cook, sometimes I paint, sometimes I build, sometimes I tell stories!

CREATE

I just have to tell you my favorite, all-time type of creating is taking “normal” items and adding a twist. The combination of the hardness of the screen ruffled and softened with a delicate flower and pearls on my Screen Wreath just makes me smile!



SEW

I have a vision of going on picnics all summer long…that does not necessarily happen…but I whipped this sweet picnic basket just in case.



COOK

OK, this does not (have to) involve cooking…but trust me this Lentil dip is super easy and everyone raves about it! A perfect summer hors d’oeuvres! 



PAINT

I like to get complicate with my crafts sometimes…but this is one that is BEYOND simple and has constantly been one of my top viewed posts…and perfectly suits my personality and it is just fun and quirky…Half and Half Mugs!



BUILD

This beauty caused some headaches (because measure twice cut once in not in my vocabulary) but in the end I got a beautiful and function piece that hides some of my treasures – books! I love my Vintage-Inspired Rolling Book Cart.

    Yay!! I adore Holly and I think she is sooo talented!! These are some of my favorites too!! That rolling book cart is just too awesome.
