I cannot tell you how many of these Creativity for Kids kits I have purchased in the past and EVERY KIT is a hit with my son. Granted I’m not buying him the girly ones. So you can imagine my excitement when they contacted me to offer my readers a giveaway! Love their products, perfect for summer time too.
They sent me 2 to play with. They sent Fashion Headbands, which I could not convince my son to do, no matter how much I offered to pay. I thought it would have been a great photo opp.
But he was all over the Shrinky Dinks Monster Lab……….and he’s 12! I love how a wide range of ages are entertained.
He got busy coloring and we popped them in the oven. OK, this is when it pays to read the directions.
Don’t start talking to the neighbors off the back deck. Had I paid attention, they would not have curled so badly. Totally my fault. Running out of time because we needed to get to Futsal, we’ll try again later.

If they curl again, immediately flatten them with a spoon or whatever while they are still hot. It won’t completely fix them but may help. I wonder if my almost 13 year old nephew would like those? He’s always been creative. His 9 year old sister would love making the head bands though. She likes crafts, takes after her Aunt that way:) .

I saw the headband kit at Joann’s and almost bought it! I have 3 girls who LOVE to try out new crafts and “help mommy”. The headband kit would be perfect! Now my poor son, the only boy, other than my husband, is the artist, at 8 years old and he would LOVE the shrinky dink monster kit. He’d get a kick out of making his own monsters!

My boys would love this!
These are wonderful crafts to use at our Joy Club for kids ages 8 to 11. I’m sure kids would stay interested! Love the crafts that don’t have me worry the parents will have a tzz when they see the kid’s clothes after club.
