I love the internet for getting design ideas for decorating. I love magazines, but nothing beats seeing what “real” people do, how real people decorate.  I no longer have to resort to peeking in windows when I drive by a home at night, hoping for a glimpse of their decorating style.

Dana dreams of becoming an Interior Designer and I think she’s well on her way.  Her own home is amazing and magazine quality……..well all the photos I’m showing are from her old home.  She has recently bought their “underdog’ home so she can explore her interior design talents.  After seeing all her “old” photos, I’m sure you’ll be watching her blog for updates on her “new” home.

This master bedroom headboard is to die for.  It’s original, whimsical and full of personality.   Beautiful. Here’s her living room.  While reading her blog, you’ll learn that she sold almost everything when they sold the home.  GASP!  I love the pillows and those lamps!

Kitchens are always one of my favorite rooms to look at.  I love how the table and chairs are all different.  Adults get the fabric covered ones and the kids get the wipe-able ones.    And I love that rug. My laundry room is a room I have yet to decorate.  I dream about it, and I recently just cleaned out all the cabinets………found 25 old towels…….25!  Her laundry room is simple and clutter free.  The colors are perfect. I am intrigued about that little curtain.  Hmmm, I’m sure she just puts detergent,etc…..but I want to know.  I never get tired of a nice taupe and white.  I think I have that stamp…….hmmmmm.  Gets me thinking.  I know many of you are looking for ways to spruce up your homes for the holidays, and you may find a few on her site.  She may even be able to help.  She helped one reader with her dining room.  It looks spectacular.  What a difference!  No new furniture………just paint.  Oh how I love paint!
