I am quiet smitten with the wall decor made from old dictionary pages. I love the paper piecing dictionary ones even more. I was drooling over the ones in the latest Ballard Designs catalog. So you can imagine my delight when I saw how Krafty Kat recreated her version. I am now on the hunt for an old dictionary. I’ve got some crafting to do.
Dictionary Crafts
Krafty Kat is a cute gal who links up to Get Your Craft On. She is always so good about linking back too. We all know how happy that makes me. We don’t want Miss Crabby Pants making another appearance.
DIY Craft Ideas
Here’s what caught my eye. She linked this on Get Your Craft On. What a fantastic job she did.
Of course I noticed this topiary she linked last week. You know me and fake topiaries. I love em! I do I do I do! In fact I have some chocolate eggs I bought a couple of summers ago while in Utah. But if you don’t have any, just paint them. Is there nothing paint can’t make better?
I’m not trying to rush Easter, but I saw this and thought you’d love it! Using drop clothes, she made her own little bunnies. Using paint to make them look like chocolate bunnies. Great idea. She has tutorials on her blog for all these projects.
Besides topiaries, I LOVE me a world map. She found this ugly ugly shelf and knew just what to do. Diggin on that pencil holder too.
So, are you inspired? Feel free to use any of those cute little button icons below. {facebook, stumble, digg}
More links that will suck you in.

You can’t sell a knock-off my dear. That would be wrong!
so true, so true. It was very tongue in cheek, although I’d LOVE one whether it’s a knock off or not. I may have to make one myself. But I won’t sell them either.

Love..Love ..Love the dictionary art…When I had my shop in Asheville I would use pages to create my gift bags for small items..sew them together with cool colored thread and then highlight a word..Folks loved them!
