Do It Yourself Blog

I just spent 2 hours on this blog giggling.  Oh my, this DIY girl is funny!   I could sit here for hours reading her archives………oh wait, I just did.

Tidbits from the Tremaynes

The queen of DIY!  Not only does she make cute kids (really cute) and tells funny stories about them, she has a hammer and she’s not afraid to use it. She is obsessed with molding.

DIY Crown MoldingDIY Projects

Her pantry door project will make you weep.  Here’s the before.  Simple, ordinary and nothing special.pantry door make overNow look……WOW!  I still think it’s a different house.  pantry door make overThen she got cocky and decided to just take the cabinet doors off. open cupboards She added molding under each shelf……..can you see that?  And she added a backing.  She could have stopped with the white backing, and I would have thought she was talented.  Adding the molding is pure genius.

More molding down below.  And I’m pretty sure she did that subway art too.  Beautiful.
living room decorI guess having 4 kids just doesn’t keep her busy enough, because she completed this Apothecary cabinet. DIY apothecary jars and labels With labels and all.  She doesn’t mind if you copy her labels either.

Got extra molding?  Why not make a shoe rack?  show rackWell of course……that’s just what I was thinking.

No worries.  In case you were wondering if she does anything that doesn’t have molding, she did this Pottery Barn Inspired mirror.  She has a tutorial for this and many of her other projects.  She’s a crafty one.  Another you’ll enjoy.  pottery barn inspired mirror
