DIY – don’t we love those Do It Yourself projects? Who needs those high priced department stores? At least when we DIY, it’s got a twist, a bit of your personality. You’ll also save a TON of money with DIY projects. Let the creativity begin!
Shabby Chic Cottage
Here’s another creative gal that I thought I had featured before. Gina has a GREAT site for showing you all kinds of DIY projects, especially if you love everything cottage, french or shabby. {yes, please}
DIY French Curtains-
Could you just die? Love this idea!
Her house must have the most original window coverings.
Ruffled Curtains
So cute! These would also be so cute in a little girls room. She is so talented with that sewing machine.
This one will really float your boat! Anytime we can take an idea from Pottery Barn and make it ourselves……..we really should get a trophy.
DIY Pottery Barn Inspired Lamp
She picked up just an ordinary lamp at a thrift store.
She worked her magic using tea staining, glaze, french words and paint.
Her tutorials are detailed to help you complete each project with little frustration. You’ll save money, get in touch with your creative self and have a cute home. Is there anything better?
She also has a rockin Etsy Shop! Lots of really cute things.
Now go do what your good at…………leaving comments for my featured bloggers. Go surprise her. Tell her she’s featured today! She’s probably wondering why I haven’t featured her yet……….but I thought I already did. Really.
