I love creative blogs that have a bit of everything. Decorating, tutorials, great ideas, tips and projects! That’s what you’ll find at today’s featured blogger. Besides having adorable children and being movie star pretty, I think you’ll find her tutorials VERY easy to follow. She must be a good communicator.
DIY Halloween Costumes for Kids
How about some more Halloween ideas? If you have little ones, this is a clever idea for a viking costume. She’s got some adorable little boys who are stars of many posts. It’s quite apparent she enjoys being their mother. Who woulda thunk that two toilet seat covers would make such a cute costume! I love it!
To stick with the Viking theme, she made her littlest one something similar. Using the silhouette, she made a freezer paper stencil for his t-shirt. So cute!
I HATE CARVING PUMPKINS! There I said it. I do, I hate it. It puts me in a bad mood right away.
They never turn out like Martha’s and I just end up with a triangle eyes and nose. But this I can do! She has a full tutorial on her site!
It’s no secret how much I love paint. Including spray paint! I think this spray painted stenciled rug turned out perfect! She has drapes to match………although she didn’t’ spray paint them. She has lots of other posts for the home……..don’t miss her post on remodeling her sisters kitchen.
Of course she sews…….seriously……who doesn’t anymore? I love these scarfs. A friend of mine crocheted me one last year and I can hardly wait to start wearing it. She doesn’t crochet, but she does sew……….so she took an old sweater and made this cute scarf………and guess what? She’s got a tutorial on her site showing you each step.
I love this idea below. She combined a few everyday necessities and placed them in a ziplock baggie.
They’re for the homeless. This is perfect! I drive past a woman in Portland on Wednesdays and Fridays who is an amazing artist, who also happens to be homeless. I think I’ll do a bag up for her and include a few of those sharpies I received. Great idea to keep on hand. So easy for everyone to do……..pay it forward.
I hope you’ll head on over and surprise her, letting her know she’s my featured blogger today. Otherwise, how will she know?
