Dukes and Duchesses

So many crafty people around Christmas time…………..I’m starting to feel a bit inadequate since I still haven’t done much in the creative dept……..Oh I have plans……..but so far I have yet to make a ginger bread house and the only cookies I’ve managed to bake were those pre cut snow man ones…………you know the ones, the ones with the face embedded in the dough? Yep…….I’m crafty.

But I’m busy………..seriously people……….you have no idea how hard it is being a mother of one…….unlike Dukes’ and Duchesses………..who has 4……….they just play with each other at that point don’t they? Especially twins………….That explains why she has so much time to do all these crafty projects.

This would be a fun project for the kids………create your own nativity scene.

I’ve seen this idea before…….but this reminded me about it. Great idea for a gift for the Grandparents. You just need a bit of berry garland…….matted photos…..ribbon……CUTE! Because she has so much time, she taught this cute button craft in her craft class……..she also had this on another blog she contributes to….. Mad About Martha. (which is full of all ideas from baking to stalking Martha) She not only takes care of her children……….she makes sure the birds have some crafty made food. Loving this idea. This takes it a step further and traces the hand from time to time…….charting the growth. Love this simple idea that is SO family. This isn’t a Christmas decoration, but it could be and it sure would make a great gift. She made this out of an old ceiling tile………..her husband doesn’t like it…………….what does he know? Make sure you leave her a comment on her blog letting her know that the clock rocks………………Rockin around the Christmas clock………
