It’s not Friday, but I have a giveaway for you! If you like coffee, then you’ll be so excited. And if you like Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee at Grocery, then you’ll be dancing in the streets!
And because coffee is better with a treat……I’m sweetening the deal by sharing this great recipe for Sweet Strawberry Cherry Bread. I ate almost the whole loaf. True.
This Sweet Strawberry Cherry Bread goes GREAT with Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee at Grocery new seasonal Strawberry Shortcake Coffee. It sure hit the spot on this rainy PNW afternoon. I had a hard time deciding between their Toasted Almond Seasonal blend or the Strawberry Shortcake blend. Since I had tried the Toasted Almond that morning, I thought why not really live it up with Strawberry Shortcake Coffee with my Sweet Strawberry Cherry Bread. At least my food was matching. I know you want some of this yummy coffee now too! You’ll have to make your own bread. I’m not sharing.

You can buy Dunkin Donuts Seasonal Coffee Blends in your local grocery store. You can read more information here on their seasonal blends.
Sweet Strawberry Cherry Bread
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil, or melted butter or margarine
- 1 egg
- 2 cups Baking Mix (like bisquick)
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 1 1/2 cup freshly cut Strawberries & Cherries (no pits)
- 1/2 tsp sugar or sprinkles
Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bread pan with cooking spray. In medium bowl, beat milk, oil and egg with wire whisk (I used my new Kitchen Aid mixer) Stir in Bisquick mix and sugar just until moistened. Fold in Strawberries and Cherries. Pour batter into pan. Sprinkle the top with 1/2 tsp sugar or sprinkles…….or both. Bake 30-35 min. Recipe adapted from Betty Crocker.

When I was a kid, my favorite Good Humor bar was toasted almond, so toasted almond coffee, especially iced, would really hit the spot.

they both sound delicious but I guess if I had to choose which one to try first, I would have to go with my sweet tooth and say, Strawberry Shortcake but Toasted Almond sounds like a very close second. Isn’t there an ice cream bar named toasted almond? Good Humor makes it…anyone?

I love Dunkin Donuts coffee, I can’t wait to try the Strawberry.
Strawberry Shortcake—–Hands Down !!! When I was a little kid ( a long time ago) my mom let me have a small patch of the small yard (this was a Chicago city lot) to garden and I’d plant strawberries. They are still my favorite to plant and to eat. I’m sure the DD coffee will have me dancing in the streets too !!!

The Toasted Almond sounds wonderful!!! Can you imagine how even more delish it would even be with a couple scoops of Toasted Almond gelato in it… making it into an iced coffee or a dessert coffee!! Yummm!
