{peeps} bunny bunting easter crafts

Easter craft

Every year I vow to decorate for Easter.  But I don’t.  I mean I put flowers on the table and such, but as far as real Easter Decorations, not so much.  Mine are more Springish.  Many of you have so many Easter crafts up your sleeves.  It’s amazing how many Easter ideas were listed yesterday.

MADE

Another amazing blogger that I thought I had featured before.  You’ll spend hours clicking through all her great ideas.  One that I thought you would all love is the Easter Peeps Bunting she made last year.  Is that not the sweetest thing you’ve ever seen?

Peeps Easter Decorations

She’s sews hers because she’s talented like that, but I bet I could just use glue.  She has a full tutorial on her site.  Her tutorials are daBomb.  And she’s got lots of them.  She’s a generous gal who loves to share.

Want your own Peeps bunting banner?  You’re in luck.  You’ll find her peep template on her tutorial too.  Darling.

Easter Ideas

I’ve seen a lot of ideas, but I’ve never seen colored rice filled eggs!  I love that these will keep for years to come.  So colorful and so many possibilities.

Paper Flowers

Great tutorial on making paper flowers from tissue.  Just changing the shape in how you cut the ends will surprise you. paper flowers Looking through all her photos is like looking at your favorite magazine.  They are so clean, bright and consistent.

Now that we’ve done our Easter crafts and Easter decorations, it’s time for a bit of Easter food!

Easter Food

Spring time means Carrot Cake.  Don’t tell, but I’d eat it anytime.  In the dead of winter?  Yes, I would.  I’m a rebel like that.

Carrot Cake

I had an AHA! Moment when I read her carrot cake tutorial.  I bake cakes in an oblong pan for a reason……because I cannot make a pretty layered cake to save myself.  But when I saw how she did it, I was SHOCKED!  Is this how everyone does it?  If so, why hasn’t anyone told me?  I’m thinking this would be perfect and much easier. layered carrot cake As I mentioned before she has SO many ideas, crafts, fun things to keep you busy for months.  She even sells some really cool patterns. The girl is crazy talented.  I hope you’ll make me look good by leaving her a ton of comments.  I’m gonna check.  I am.

More things to ooh and awww over.
