Fabric Ink Numbers

I really had some fun with the Fabric Ink Starter kit it once I figured out what the transfer paper was.  It wasn’t difficult at all.
I bought a pillow cover from IKEA the other day and thought I’d try using the fabric ink by stenciling something fun.

The pillow cover is textured which made the lines not as crisp as they could have been, but it doesn’t mean I love this project any less.  I love how my pillow turned out.   I bought the burlap pillow off Etsy, but now that I know how to do this, there is no stopping me now.  numbered pillow using Silhouette fabric ink kit Using the silhouette I cut my numbered design from their library.  I think the design cost me .99 cents.  I should have waited to take some decent photos when the sun came up, but I just couldn’t stand it……..I had to show you.

My new years resolution is to make sure EVERYONE owns a Silhouette. :)

    I like the non-crisp look…gives them a kind of Arts & Crafts or antique letterpress feel, especially with the color scheme you’ve got. Very cool!
