I’ve been flocked! Happy Birthday to me!
I woke up this morning early before everyone, opened the door to get the paper and ………..SURPRISE! I’ve been flocked! Happy 50th birthday!
Mabie wasn’t so sure about these fine feathered friends. She was very cautious.
I could have marched out in my jammies to get this photo……because really, once you’re fifty…..who cares right? But I gather what self respect I could and had my husband walk across the street to get this shot. Mabie followed him and did her business in the yard across the street as well. She was having NONE of these nonsense.
Apparently flamingos get thirsty. (just so you know…..I picked that fountain up for $15 at a yard sale a couple years ago……and spray painted it)
Shortly after, I headed to Edgefield Ruby Spa with a girlfriend. Ahhhhh

Thats wonderful! Happy birthday. What really drew me to your post was that a co-worker of mine had something similar for her birthday. Her boyfriend has someone place 1000 cardboard flamingos in her yard for when she came home from work.

Happy Birthday! Too funny, our local library does this as a fundraiser, you can make a donation and they will send “the flock” to a residence of your choosing.

That’s hilarious! Love it! I used to live in Downtown Vancouver and The Edgefield was one of my very fav places in the entire PDX area. We went opening weekend back in the early 90s.
They sure didn’t have a spa at that time.
