Happy Zombie

Well I booked my flight to The Creative Connection where I’ve been asked to be their Social Media Corespondent.  They didn’t actually come up with that title, I did……..but they loved it…….so there ya go.  I am now a social media corespondent……..one that can’t figure out how to fix a feed.  :)

I am thrilled that I will be able to meet Monica there.

Happy Zombie

This is my kind of woman.  I was completely lost in her writing…….she’s a funny funny lady!  She’s also from the Pacific NW.  I’ve tromped around her stompin grounds and I even have relatives there.  If you sew, then you are probably already aware of her and her amazing talents, her free patterns and all the publications she’s been in.  She’s crazy talented with a sewing machine……and I like the way she decorates too.

So bright, so clean, so much energy!  I love all the pops of color.  Seeing how she decorates her home, it’s no wonder her first fabric line would also be full of color!  She must be so excited.

She designs fun things to make……..well I can only image they would be fun since I don’t sew…..but what about these Gnoma Claus bags?  I know many of you are going to be all over those.I wanna be hip like her.  Isn’t this the coolest logo you’ve ever seen?  She is so lucky I didn’t stalk her when I went to Astoria last month.  We could have hung out all day. I don’t know about you, but I think it would be hilarious to place this on the table at Thanksgiving!  I’m pretty sure she’s got a pattern on her site if you’re wanting to make this for your little ones.   She also has this yummy piece of cake. Can’t even image………being this talented to not only understand patterns like this, but to actually make this.  WOW!Because we love anything that resembles a banner……..especially one we can tuck things into…….oh just think of the possibilities.

If you aren’t completely impressed yet……you will be when you see her studio.  Dang.  Do you think she’d come and help me decorate my studio?  If I asked really nicely…….and paid for her gas?   You can see her full studio on HGTV.  Sigh.

This photo sealed the deal for me…….yep, I know I’ll love her when I meet her at The Creative Connection.
