Silhouette Advent Calendar ~ Discount code for you!

You may not believe this, but this is my first advent calendar! My past holiday tradition is picking one up at Trader Joes for my son and he’s happy as a clam.  (.99 cents) But I really do want a better tradition and I have looked at fancy advent calendars and they are either too expensive or not my style.  I was thrilled when Silhouette sent me one to play with if I promised to show and share their offer with you.  Ok………twist my arm!

I love how it turned out.  I like needing to search for the numbers, makes it more fun.

You download the box templates from the Silhouette shop, cut them with your Silhouette, put them together………which was super easy.  Then just decorate to your own style.  I was determined to use stuff I already had.  I did break down and buy some new ribbon, but that explains the hodge podge design.  A little of this and a little of that!

Now what to put in all those little boxes?  Any ideas?  Besides candy?

Where’s their offer?

Silhouette would like you to know they are offering my readers……..YOU, a discount.  Just enter discount code TCB.  You can have one too!  Order one!

    It’s gorgeous…you did a fabulous job!
I think I’d fill it with art and craft supplies and toys for the little ones…crayons, play-doh, legos, etc.
A Hot Wheels car in each one for my race-loving nephew. Pretty barrettes, friendship bracelets and lip glosses for my niece. And a few homemade snack bars and cashew chocolates here and there too. :)
Thanks for the discount code and link!

I would put cute messages with things to do in the different days and make them into family traditions to do each year. Go Christmas caroling, deliver cookies to someone that doesn’t have family around, read The Littlest Angel as a family, drink hot chocolate and tell what Christmas means to you. Use it as a way to remind you what Christmas is truly about.

    Hi there,

I have been looking like crazy for this advent calendar….and the 2012 one that Silhouette came out with is completely different. So I was wondering if you happen to have an extra kit for the 2011 silhouette advent calendar that you never used? Or even a used one that you want to part with?
I’d so love to get one of these!!!
    Thanks so much,
    Becky :)
