Home DIY

As I mentioned yesterday, this is the perfect time to fluff our nest and get busy with a few Home DIY Decorating projects. I love DIY projects that create a huge change, but didn’t cost a lot. One of the easiest ways besides rearranging your furniture is PAINT!  Oh how we love paint.  This blogger loves paint so much, she even named her blog after paint.

DIY Home Decorating

It All Started with Paint

Her transformations will stun you and have you running to your local hardware store for a gallon or two.  Your husbands “honey do” list just got longer. Her porch is amazing! From the cute little pillow, to the handmade wreath to that PAINTED PORCH!

Here’s a better look.  I just love it!

Leading up to the porch are numbered stairs.  This is such a simple simple DIY project that adds so much charm.  I only have 2 stairs on my porch……I wonder if it would look silly?

DIY Projects for the Home

The pillow was handmade by her and stenciled.  Monograms and numbers……….I’m a goner. She has tutorials on her site for a ton of DIY projects for the home!

Once inside, you’ll be treated with her stunning entry way make over.  WOW!  This should inspire you to fluff something in your nest.

If I went to visit her, I’m not sure I’d ever leave the entry way…….although peeking around her  blog, I did see the rest of her home is pretty nice too. I’m certain you’ll get a lot of ideas……that’s what this week is all about…….getting ideas for your home!

The chalkboard door on the pantry is such a great idea. Shopping lists, menu’s, reminders, love notes. I saw it on Pinterest first.
