How to Be Creative – DIY Creative Decorating

Aren’t we always looking for ways on how to be creative?  Creative ways to decorate? Decorating our home with our own stamp is natural for creative people.  We can’t just go to a furniture store and pick out a room and call it good.  That’s not decorating to us.  Sometimes, I don’t know when to quit.  I’ll find an idea I like……and I tend to overdo.  Oh well.  As long as I like it, right?

Dave’s wife (her nic name) transformed her kitchen to reflect her creative side.  What I love the most and thought many of you would benefit from, was the Rust-OLeum Counter Top coating.  WOW!  Who knew.  I may have to look into this for my ugly bathroom counters.

While making over her kitchen she really couldn’t help herself……….she HAD to make over her kitchen aid mixer too.   It caught my eye when she linked it up to Get Your Craft On. You can read about how she did it on her blog.  Now that’s personality!

I know how you all love a free printable! She has plenty!  Some are to decorate your home, and some are parties or gifts.  Cute styles and fun ideas. Dare I say……..creative? (you can find all her printables by searching for printables on her category cloud)

Apparently she was at the Girls Night Out last year at Creative Estates.  She talks about meeting some of my girls (jen, shelley, kim) but no mention of me. Sniff.  I was there! I was probably too distracted with my giggle fest I was having with Amy.  I guess I wasn’t very good at socializing. Anyhoo, I would have totally died over her decoupaged shoes!  WOW!  She is daBomb!
