I’ve teamed up with Klutz Books as one of their ambassadors………which pretty much rocks, because I get to review several of their books.I reviewed the Spiral Draw Book last month ……which fulfilled my childhood dreams. This month is all about Window Clings and how to make them yourself using their Window Art book.
The Window Art Klutz book is for anyone age 8 and up, but with a little assistance, smaller kids could do this too. The directions are VERY easy to follow. The book of course comes with everything you need including designs.
My son was home recovering from a stomach virus, so these were perfect for a fun activity once he started to feel better.
He decided to create his own designs around a Halloween theme. (Their book is full of designs to trace)
- He found an image of spooky eyes, printed it off, then slipped it into the plastic insert pages included with the kit.
- Following their directions, he outlined his design in black then filled in the eyes with bright colors.
- Allow to dry over night.
- Gently peel and stick to your windows.
They have some pretty cool ideas in their book, like names on glasses, or a fish bowl…..you can label just about anything.
Pretty spooky huh? At least the trick or treaters will like them.
These were fun. I’d do them again. I’d say we loved them!
My son also decided to break into their CrazyAction Contraptions lego book too.
