Record Albums
Look what I found! I know many of you probably don’t even know what a “record album” is. Vinyl baby! I’m thrilled that a company has taken old record albums and recycled them and made something creative from them……….Journals! Ah the memories. Vintage Vinyl Journals have taken all our past memories and made journals for our current memories! And I’m thrilled they’re letting me give one away!
Used Records
Purple Rain. Sigh. My college roommate could lip sync the entire album without breaking character. Great entertainment…….cheap entertainment. I think we even saw that movie about 9 times………oh how we loved it. I saw a portion of it in the past year and thought it was the worse movie ever made. But I still loved seeing Prince.

Vintage Vinyl Journals
You’ll be happy to know that I’m giving away ONE Vintage Vinyl Journal (Prince) and one T-shirt. One lucky winner!

Vintage Vinyl Journals are handcrafted notebooks, sketch books all made from recycled record albums.

I actually just got a record player and am in the process of collecting some…my favorite to play right now? Joshua James.
My parents had L.O.T.S. of records when I was young, but I don’t remember any specific titles;)
I have owned lots of Elvis Presley film albums!

I have definitely owned vinyl. I was a teenager before the advent of CD’s and iPods- it was vinyl or the radio. The first one I bought myself was a Johnny Farnham LP. Sad but true!
As a teenager, my most played album was by Lovin’ Spoonful!
Another favorite – just because I thought it was cool that a book reading was on an album – was a Christmas gift “The Story of the Count of Monte Cristo”
Ok you are kidding aren’t you? I am 57, yes that is right back in the days of not only vinyl but 8 tracks. I actually still have a couple of those as well. Yes John Denver and Neil Diamond were my favorites and yes I still have my original Abba records, that is what we called them. Funny.
I don’t have a record player but I collected some Beatles records and framed them and hung them on my media room wall. I am looking for hard day’s night in purple at a deal price.
I’ve turned a Jane Fonda vinyl record into a bowl before. Loving this idea.
I have owned MANY vinyl records in my day; still do. My favorite it one that I played when I was a kid; it belonged to my mother. The song, “It’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to.” I had a whole dance I did with it.
These journals are amazing; I just found your site this evening! I also “liked” on Facebook, and pinned your site on Pinterest!
I have had many record albums throughout the years, and I actually collect 80′s albums.
Thank you for the opportunity; now I am crossing my fingers for good luck and in the meantime, passing on your site to everyone I know!!
I had many vinyl records as a child. My parents still have a lot of vinyl. I don’t remember many of them. I know we listened to Christmas records as we decorated the tree and I remember having Flash Dance.
Michael Jackson’s Thriller of course!
