Over the years, I’ve met so many people because of this blog gig. Amazing people. Talented people. People I wouldn’t have otherwise ever been able to get to know. I’ve seen people start blogs or Etsy shops as a hobby, grow into a full time business or write books. I love seeing women bloom, getting recognized for talents they may not have ever known they had.
2 online friends recently sent me their new books! How exciting is that?
These are my MUST HAVE BOOKS! Inspiration & Beauty, Crafts, and Recipes. What else is there?
Beki from The Rusted Chain is a hoot!
I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Beki in person yet, but I’ve gotten to know her through social media. And her blog is funny……..and relaxing…….and inspiring. She’s funny, has a good attitude and loves life. Her story of how she came to writing a book is touching……one morning while online, she got her message loud and clear.
I haven’t met the author, but I sure know mason jars! I was happy to offer a review when asked. This is a book I’ll use for sure! I like how it breaks down the products to match the time of year, giving you a lot of fresh ideas.
Stephanie and I go WAY back. Way back to the days of when there were very few blogs online. On a whim, she decided to use her slow cooker EVERY DAY for one year. And she did. And she gives her run down on each recipe. And because of that, she’s landed book deals, TV interviews, conference speaking opportunities and more. She and I haven’t ever met yet in person, although we speak via skype often. She’s met my sister in law (hi Debbie) at a Celiac Conference, which I thought was fun! (6 degrees of separation) Stephanie is nice as nice gets.
Stephanie continues to use her slow cooker and I continue to make many of her recipes. I’ve even shared a few on Slow Cooker Sundays.
If you’re wanting your own copy of any of these books. Here’s where you can find them.
