Not Martha
I may have mentioned Martha on here before. Maybe once or twice. If you’re wondering Martha who?, Then you’re on the wrong blog. If you like to craft, create, cook or bake, then chances are you’ve heard of Martha. She’s a natural inspiration to all of us, whether you want ot admit it or not. I’ve been following Megan’s site since the beginning of my blog awareness. She’s also a Pacific NW gal, so maybe someday I’ll meet her. Her blog is full of all kinds of ideas, tutorials and a few mentions of Martha. Although she claims shes “Not Martha”, I’d say she’s pretty darn close. If I’ve been reading her forever, then why did it take me so long to feature her? Intimidated. Yep……..Since she’s one of my blogging mentors……..I was intimidated. In my mind, she’s one of the cool girls…..I was (am) afraid she’ll hate her feature. So please go leave her a ton of comments so she thinks I’m cool too.
Bacon Cups!
Need I say more? Everything is better with bacon. She has a GREAT tutorial on how she made these bacon bowls. She tells you what worked, what didn’t. Have you ever seen so much beauty in your life?
Making Donuts!
Next in line for beautiful foods are donuts! For some reason it seems totally OK to eat them if they’re really cute.
If you’re still stuck on bacon, you could take a tip from Voo Doo Donuts in Portland and add maple frosting with bacon on top. {no kidding}
Cobbler in a Jar!
Cobbler in a jar! I do love a mobile dessert. I must be hungry because so far, I’ve only shown you food tutorials from Not Martha and believe me, she has SO many other great projects.
Ok, this is kind of food related, but crafty at the same time. And with Easter coming up, I figured my type A readers would be all over this.
Surprise Easter Eggs
This will take a bit of skill. At least it would from me.
Her photos are amazing as well as her tutorials. Step by step instructions.

WOW! What a great suggestion. I think “Not Martha” is going to become one of my new favorites.
those tiny donuts look FANTASTIC!
I will try this with the kids this weekend. Thanks for sharing.
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, but all of the photos and highlighted words that I thought would take me to the Not Martha site just took me to another link on your site. Where’s the link to click on that will take us to view the projects your featured?
Thanks,
Sharon
Sharon, The title of her blog is linked to her site and is right below the first paragraph. The other links at the bottom of my post are not related to Not Martha, but other features I thought readers would also enjoy.
Gotcha!
Thanks.
