A bit ago, I featured one of Myra’s projects. But I haven’t given her a full feature as she deserves. Because we all know I feature more than projects, I feature people, blogs. She is a thrifty gal after my own heart, finding the best thrifty deals and then recreating them so beautifully.
Thrift Shopping
I LOVE her before and after creations. Makes me want to hit my local thrift stores NOW!
Combing thrift stores for bargains, she has found the best stuff. You gotta be able to look beyond, look for potential. Without that, you’re not gonna find those hidden gems. Always know you and a can of spray paint can change the world.
I am SO jealous of this find. I want them.
Thrifty Decorating
No, actually I want this desk. I could place the finials on top of the desk. That apple green is to die for. Makes me want to re-decorate just to incorporate that green. Hmmmm.
Thrift stores are the perfect place to find things that have already seen their time. Those big spoon and forks were so big (no pun intended) in the 70′s. I think my mother had a set. But I do remember them being a bit chunkier, not so craftsman looking. These are gorgeous.
I want those too. Looking pretty good in that display don’t you think?
I know what your thinking……..you’re looking for your shoes so you can head to your local thrift store or Goodwill. Before you go, be sure to head over and leave sweet Myra a sweet comment.

Love seeing all the before and after pics! So inspiring! I do have a small request though. Could you possibly post what you paid for these items as the thrift store? Just to show the difference between shopping new and shopping gently used? Thanks!
