Besides crafts, I was drawn to all the summer time food from last weeks Get Your Craft On! Everything looks so tasty.
Summer Foods
Summer foods mean a lot of grilling, refreshing salads and yummy treats for us. We are lucky enough to live close to the Columbia Gorge where we can buy fresh salmon directly from the Native Americans. We’re grilling it on a cedar plank and will serve fresh berries and salad.
These 5 picks caught my eye for their summer food feel. You’ll have to tell me which one looks the yummiest to you right now.
Cheryl is a dear blogging friend of mine. She has taught me so much about food photography and simple ways to bake. She always has something yummy up her sleeve. These look perfect for a summer treat.
I have always wanted to try grilled pizza! Ever since I saw Martha grilling it a few years ago, I have been dying to try it. Do you think it’s hard? She says it’s easy and it only takes 20 min!
This salad looks like the perfect summer food. It looks refreshing. It reminds me of another of my favorites, the Waldorf Salad…….because of the grapes. Yum!
Why haven’t I ever thought to do this? It looks so simple when she does it. Ice Cream Drumsticks. Make your own!
Isn’t this beautiful? Nothing like fresh cherries and I’m sure there’s nothing like a tart made from fresh cherries. This recipe is GLUTEN FREE! I’m thinking I need to make this too.

Get Your Craft On Guidelines
- Link up something creative, as in crafty. Cooking, baking, organizing are all welcome too. (please don’t link the same thing week after week)
- DO NOT link up items you are selling. No contests, giveaways or link parties.
- Because of the filter I use, you must link back to TCB in your post. I’ve also heard that having my button on your side bar works too. If you need help in learning how to link back, please watch this quick tutorial on HOW TO LINK BACK.
- Mingle, find your next project, tweet about Get Your Craft On, tell everyone on FB. Why not? That means more ideas!
- Find all my buttons here. But text links are great too.
