While I sit in my mild temps with intermittent showers, my mind drifts to all you bloggy friends who are experiencing the Arctic Blast or way below average temps …..like Florida. So this is for you my friends. Bake at 350.
Wouldn’t a chocolate Pumpkin muffin be really good right now? You could serve it up when the kids come in from sledding with a cup of hot cocoa……let’s get them bouncing off the walls the right way.
Bridget’s site has tips, tutorials on how to make her little gems…..She gives us all her knowledge on icing……..how to make monograms……how to design a specific shaped cookie when there’s no cookie cutter. And if you know in a million years you are never going to try and make cookies like hers, then you can come sit next to me and we’ll just enjoy the amazing show. Who would think to make OVEN cookies? Bridget would……those have got to be the cutest thing ever.
My son will be turning 11 soon……..I have been wracking my brain on what kind of party to plan…..something special and memorable. He of course wants to go the the Rec Center and plan a big dodge ball game with his friends…..Boys. But if I were talented like Bridget, I could serve some really cool cookies……..I bet I could manage to make a round circle cookie and decorate it like a ball.…… maybe. Could I just do plain round sugar cookies and tell them it’s a ball? My pup Mabie just had her one year birthday! I could have made dog biscuits like this. Well, it’s a good idea…… We love monograms…..monogrammed pillows, plates, mugs, wall art…….She’ll teach you how she does it. She’s nice like that. It warms my heart when creative women share what they do.
